Bharathiraja
is quite busy these days with his film titled
Cinema. As the name rightly suggests, the
film will look at the other side of the
filmmaking process. He is making this film
in Hindi, which will be the original version,
apart from Tamil and Telugu. |

With a strong support system,
the film is already creating
a lot of hype in the industry.
Agathiyan, the man behind
the sensitive film Kadhal
Kottai, is set to pen the
dialogues for the Tamil version.
With his low profile in the
industry lately, people began
wondering if he would just
forgo cinema, which would
have been cinema's loss rather
than the talented filmmaker's.
It is good to see his presence
in a film with Bharathiraja.

As we had already reported, Nana Patekar
will play the role of a movie director
in the flick, while Kollywood's action
hero Arjun, is the CBI officer. The
film is being produced by P G Srikanth,
whose earlier films include Seevalaperi
Pandi in Tamil. Rama Subramanium,
who assisted Balu Mahendra at one
point, will be writing the dialogues
for the Hindi version. Currently,
the film is being shot in the idyllic
locale of Goa, with plans of shifting
base to London soon. |
