Opining on how the latest genre of directors such as Cheran
and Ameer have taken village-oriented subjects a level
ahead, especially the latter with his Paruthiveeran, he
added that both the directors have gone in-depth to show
villages deep down to its roots.
Disclosing about the rift between him and Nana Patekar,
the director said that such things are bound to happen
when two ace personalities in the same field join hands
for a venture. However, he was quick to add that when
Nana Patekar was here for the dubbing of Bommalattam he
had mentioned that "neither of us lost". The
problem between the two arose when Nana Patekar was asked
to dub for the Tamil version of Bommalattam. |
