Censor Board officers hail a movie

Readers may be aware that movies from big banners, well-established actors, and popular directors have all faced the censor board’s scissors. At a time when the censor board members and film directors and producers are always bickering over scene cuts, Kannum Kannum has managed to pull off the whole process without having to face the scissors.

So naturally it is not be a surprise that the movie managed to get a U certificate. What is even more astonishing is that the officials were praising the movie to no end. Prasanna, Udhayathara and Vadivelu star in Kannum Kannum. Dheena has scored the music and G Marimuthu has directed this movie.

From the very beginning this movie was garnering all the attention as the director made it clear that it would be a soft romance story sans any vulgarity and item numbers. And true to his word, Marimuthu has completed the project. The stage is set for the movie to be released next month.
