A clean-shaven CM in Nam Naadu

Nam Naadu, a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lion, is progressing at a rapid pace and the expectations for this movie is also shooting up. This Sarath Kumar-starrer has Manivannan in a very powerful role – as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. As Manivannan is always at his best when playing a politician perhaps we can expect the same in this movie too.

For this role, Manivannan has tried something different. Guess what? He has shed his beard. Yes, probably for the first time we will see a clean-shaven Manivannan. There is a scene in the movie where Manivannan is arrested at wee hours. Strike any bells? Hope this does not lead to controversies.
