Rameswaram’s wall broken

Rameswaram movie, produced by IDA Films, is all about Sri Lankan Tamil refugees. The shooting for this Jeeva-Bhavana-starrer was progressing quite well at Rameswaram. But the team faced some unprecedented problems due to which the shooting was wrapped up and an alternate location was found to complete the filming.

According to the producer, S.N. Raja, a wall that was built very near to the sea shore, at the cost of Rs. 3 lakhs, collapsed due to heavy sea erosion one day before the scene that should have been shot there. The wall, being an integral part of the movie, is the place where the lead pair meets often in the movie. Later on, the scenes were filmed at Alambarakottai near Pondicherry.
