‘Manaivikku nadanda thirumanam’

Velu Prabhakaran is known in the industry circles as a director who believes in handling revolutionary themes like Kadavul, Puratchikaaran, and Asuran etc. Kadhal Arangam, a film directed by him is still in censor tangle due to its unacceptable nature of content and the director is still unable to release the film.

Meanwhile it has been announced that he will be starting work on his next project titled ‘Manaivikku nadanda thirumanam’ which is supposedly based on a real life incident. While talking about this film Velu states that over a period of time women have been suppressed by men asphyxiating them within a circle saying that they are sacred and holy. On the contrary women are also normal beings just like their male counterparts and have every right to exhibit their feelings. This will be the central theme of his film. Hearing this, many insiders opine that Velu is likely to get into a fresh controversy with ‘Manaivikku nadanda thirumanam’ also.
