Director Sundar C appears to have totally changed tracks these days concentrating more on donning the grease paint than on calling the shots. As per Kollywood circles he has more films on his kitty than anyone in the industry right now and seems to be in an enviable position pairing with many newcomers.

His innings began with Jyothirmayee in Thalainagaram followed by Gopika in Veerappu the shooting for which is going on currently.

He is also involved in the capacity of a hero in various upcoming projects like Ayudam Seivom where his leading lady will be Anjali who is the heroine of Thamizh M.A. In Perumal, Namitha and Meenakshi (Karuppusamy Kuthagaidarar) will be sharing their screen presence with him. Ragini who has been selected as Miss Malaysia will be debuting in Thee as Sundar’s arm candy. After the avalanche of new heroines for Sundar, the unit of Porukki is also reported to be scouting for an appropriate leading lady for him in their film.
