Sivaji is getting thumping response from all
over the world, and the most surprising aspect
is the reception it received in North India.
Never has a Tamil movie been welcomed with
open arms by the Northerners. In a move to
capitalize on this Sivaji wave, AVM Productions
has decided to dub the movie in Hindi.
AVM, after getting acceptance from director Shankar and
music director A.R.Rahman, is going to start the dubbing
process soon. The North Indians saw the movie in Tamil
without the sub-titles; just imagine how much the movie
would rake in if it is releasing in Hindi. The movie is
said to have collected Rs. 1.5 crores in the Northern
region, which is almost 10 to 15 times greater than other
southern movies released in the area.
Remember that AVM is also in the process of dubbing the
movie into Chinese and Japanese to cater to the audience
in those regions. Looks like AVM will leave no stone unturned
to cash in on the Sivaji wave.
