Corporate world takes over Kollywood

Actor Srikanth had pinned his hopes on Sasi’s Im. But unfortunately the film had to be shelved due to his personal problems and the producer has decided to drop the project. Consequently, Sasi will be making a film for Moser Baer Company. It has been alleged that this film will be a woman centric one and is also village based.

Moser Baer is set to follow the foot steps of Pyramid Saimeera and is believed to be actively involved in funding quality films. Currently they will be financing Prakash Raj’s Vellithirai and also a film directed by K Bhagyaraj. Having smelt the news, it has been reported that many directors are flocking these corporates with a request to fund their films. We only hope that this ushers in a healthy trend in Kollywood and true movie lovers will get to view quality films.
