Simran grabs Mandira Bedi’s place

After her announcement to resume her work in film industry, Simran did not get encouraging response from Kollywood. This did not dampen the sprit of this talented actress. Telugu and Malayalam filmdom welcomed her with open and warm hands, as a result of which the slim seductress is being paired with N T Balakrishna in ‘okka makadu’.

Meanwhile she has also been offered the lead role in ‘John Apparao 40 plus’ with Krishna Bhagavan under the direction of Venkat. Originally Mandira Bedi was said to feature in this film but due to call sheet issue, she could not be accommodated in this movie and the offer fell on Simran’s lap. Shooting is scheduled to commence in the first week of August in Dubai.

On a similar vein, Bollywood actress Kajol who was slated to play the lead role in Heart Beats, a Malayalam film has declined the offer and Simran has moved in to that slot also. It appears as though Simran has begun her second innings in the tinsel world. All the Best Simran…
