Kamal-Balki coming together?

The spotlight fell on Balakrishnan or Balki after his debut directorial venture Cheeni Kum with Amitabh and Tabu received critical accolades from all quarters and the director is reportedly getting plum offers from the cream of the tinsel world. It was even mentioned that popular actors had expressed their desire to be directed by Balki.

However as per the latest buzz from the showbiz, Balki may be directing our very own Kamal Hassan. In fact in a recent interview with a popular Tamil weekly, Balki even mentioned that Kamal is his favorite artiste and that he would like to work with him.

Sources close to the director allege that Kamal has given his consent and his favorite cinematographer P C Sreeram and music director Ilayaraja are also roped into this project which will be in Hindi. But Kamal’s side is still keeping mum on this. We will keep you posted on the developments.
