It’s Potter time once again and the
expectations are rising after the release
of the trailer and one international premier
of the movie. Well, we thought maybe it is
time to start speculating what the movie is
going to be like. Most of you who have read
the book might have a fairly good idea of
how the movie is going to look like.

But then, if you have read and seen the previous movies,
especially The Goblet of Fire you might know that all
that happens in the book can by no means come on screen,
it will be far too long.
But here’s what we can say. Harry Potter and the
fifth movie of the franchise is no longer the sweet and
magical adventure of a boy wizard at a school of magic.
It is deeper and darker and we did get a taste of it in
the last movie itself with the climax being very gripping
and intense resulting in the death; something that had
not happened in the previous Potter movies. This time
there will surely be the menacing and sometimes irksome
(for children) presence of Voldemort for a longer time
on screen and mind you this time he does not come as Professor
Quirell or Tom Marvolo Riddle, he is the same flat nosed,
mean looking self that we saw in the climax of the last
movie. If you are still not convinced about the nature
of the movie then go back and watch The Goblet of Fire
where towards the fag end Dumbledore speaks to Harry in
a very intense scene. He says ‘ Dark and difficult
times lie ahead. Soon you will have to choose between
what is right and what is easy’.
The dark lord has risen and dark times lie ahead. And
by the way… the final book of the Harry Potter series
will be out shortly. A double treat for all Potter fans. |
