Call sheet managers to be barred

The Tamil Film Producers’ Council has decided to bar unprofessional “call sheet” managers who demand huge price for obtaining the call sheets of actors and actresses. The decision came in after there were reports from various producers that these managers refuse to give dates if they are not paid the commission amount, which runs to lakhs of rupees.

Moreover, to get the most out of it, these managers hike the salary of the actors and actresses as more salary means more commission. Speaking to the media, the president of the council, Rama. Narayanan said this unprofessional and greedy attitude is affecting the film industry as a whole. Therefore, the council has decided to bar these call sheet managers.
