The event will be conducted not just to celebrate the
75th year of Tamil cinema but also as a fundraiser for
a new building to house the South Indian Actors Association.
The Singapore event will take place on the 11th of August
and the US show will be conducted two months later. Those
participating in the show include Arya, Silambarasan,
"Jeyam" Ravi, Jeeva, Abbas, Prakash Raj, Barath,
Vineeth, Asin, Reema Sen, Sneha, Nila, Shobana, Mumtaj,
Sandhya, Sangeetha, Malavika, Aparna, Saranya Ponvannan,
director K.S. Ravikumar, producer "Sathya Jyothy"
Thyagarajan, music director Srikanth Deva among others.
The event will be conducted by Radaan Production House.
An international team has been signed up to work on this
mega project.
Meanwhile, the Actors' Association is also planning for
an awards ceremony on the 14th of July in Singapore. The
winners of which were selected by an SMS contest.
The ex-president "Captain" Vijayakanth, managed
to pull off a fabulous show when he conducted a mega event
in Malaysia where the two giants of Kollywood, Rajinikanth
and Kamal Haasan shared the stage. With such big names
