Srikanth’s attempts will certainly pay off

Director Sasi’s forthcoming project ‘Im’ with Srikanth is delayed due to the actor’s personal problems. There were also talks doing the rounds in the industry that the project is shelved. Rubbishing them as baseless rumors, the director says, “People say that Im is based on a novel.

But it is not true. The film is inspired from a real life incident”. When the reasons for delay were questioned, Sasi says it is due to the ongoing problems of the actor with his wife Vandana.

The shooting of Im is slated to be in different locales like London and Varanasi in addition to Chennai. A Mumbai model Suhasi will play Srikanth’s love interest in the film. On Srikanth, Sasi says that he is such a dedicated and committed actor who has built up his muscles and has grown his mane and beard for the film. He also adds that Srikanth’s dedication will certainly take him to higher places in the industry and will pay rich dividends. Shooting of Im is scheduled to commence by the end of this month.
