It
is not too long when Vadivelu dragged the
movie ‘Uyir’ into yet another
controversy by making silly comments like
‘the director should be kicked’
and ‘the movie creates uncalled for
doubts and suspicions in the family’,
in the 100th day celebration of ‘Thambi’.
We carried a report on that, if you still
remember |

In
what seems to be a retaliation of
comedian Vadivelu’s remarks
on his Uyir, Sami came out with
a statement mostly criticizing the
comedian of his undue comment. Vadivelu
is panicky because his movie ‘Imsai
Arasan’ is facing tough competition
with ‘Uyir’ and subsequently
he does not want his newfound hero
stardom to be lost, furious Sami
was quoted saying”
Sami’s detailed statement
further condemns Vadivelu for being
a male chauvinist and the director
explains that the movie has a noble
intention(?!!) and that he wants
to portray Arundathi as a destructive
women and how life can go haywire
with such reckless immoral.

Sami
challenges vadivelu of being narrow-minded.
He questions Vadivelu if he has seen
Satyajit Ray’s ‘Charulatha’
of the same theme and in our own turf,
movies like ‘Vali’, ‘Aasai’
& ‘Poomani’ or is
he comfortable with those movies because
the hero is portrayed to be playing
the negative role.
We predict a riot. Do you? |
