Konkana’s co-stars Rajat kapoor
and Koel Purie were held back by the
guards from interfering for fear of
further unruly behaviour by the irritated
crowd.
As the saying goes ‘all is well
that ends well’. That’s
the way it went as Konkana, after
quite an ordeal finally managed to
get into the auditorium, as well as
many of the eager film buffs. The
hall, they say, was brimming and the
sedate Naseerudin Shah was in, caught
on the wrong foot when his arrival
was greeted by uncharacteristically
loud applause well assisted by catcalls
and other accompaniments.
