One
fan got a taste of Vijayakanth style
the other day. The actor who portrays
the image of an upright officer in
every movie was in Srirangam. He had
been shooting for Dharmapuri in near
by Karur. As soon as he heard that
a fire had broken out near the famous
Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam,
he immediately rushed to the spot
to assess the damage and offer condolences
and speed up relief. Hearing the news,
the local fan club had converged in
full strength.

While
the actor-cum-MLA went about consoling
those affected, one man tried to shove
some of the affected persons in an
attempt to clear the way for Captain.
No doubt, the act enraged him and
he immediately slapped the man for
doing so. While the man was taken
aback by the unexpected response from
Vijayakanth, the crowd went silent.
Vijayakanth continued interacting
with the people. He left soon after.

he had gone, there were animated discussions
about the incident and people were arguing
the pros and cons. Some private channels
flashed the video footage of the above said
incident and teased Captain. Captain however
met media persons at a hotel in Trichy and
introduced the person he beat amidst them
and said he was none other than his good
ol’ friend with whom he has all sort
of rights.
