Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal signed
up an ad promoting a new brand of
whisky? The actor himself has confirmed
this but was quick to add that this
was a subtle ad and did not promote
the liquor directly. “What I
am doing is something different and
it is all within the rules of law,”
the handsome actor said. Direct alcohol
ads are not allowed in India and are
usually promoted through other products
of the same company. And Mohan Lal
appears in the ads of the mineral
water of this company.
