heroine-who-never-ages, Nadiya, might be
acting in the much-talked about film, Dasavatharam,
as one of the Kamals' pair. |

The
current talk in Kollywood is the fact
that Kamal is negotiating with Nadiya
and is trying to bring her into the
film. Nadiya, who made a ravishing
comeback with M Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi,
created quite a sensation with her
svelte and chic look, and changed
the perception of motherhood itself
in Tamil cinema. It was a refreshing
presence on screen for audiences,
who remembered Nadiya from her earlier
films like Poove Poochudava, etc.

| For
Dasavathara, Nadiya is more than happy to
accept the role, we are told, though she
expects to be paid as much as the top heroines
in Kollywood. Coming from an actress with
the kind of experience she enjoys, it would
be natural to make such a request. But for
Kamal Hassan, who is known for businesslike
attitude, it is something that he would
like to negotiate till he reaches a favourable
amount. If everything goes well and Kamal
signs up Nadiya, she would play the role
of a commission agent in the flick.
