If
not an actress this girl would’ve
been a chef |

Actresses
these days are so focused and clear of what
they want out of the industry that it is
exuded in their very mannerisms and attitude.
Take Tanushree Dutta for instance. From
Jamshedpur, Tanushree became Miss India
in 2004, and was soon pulled into Bollywood.
"I always knew that I would be part
of the glamour industry, which is why I
moved to Mumbai and now, here I am." |
|
|
With
films like Chocolate and Ashiq Banaya
Apne, Tanushree is quite happy with
her status in Bollywood. And she is
focused enough to know that wearing
revealing clothes and kissing on screen
is more of a personal choice than
a given. In Chennai, as part of a
promotional event, Tanushree said
that no filmmaker can fool the audience.
"You can't deliver a hit film
by simply inserting kissing scenes
in the film. Do credit the audience
with a little more intelligence." |
|
|
Having
said that, this young actress is also rather
picky about her films, as she rightly believes,
"People will remember you only from
the roles that you essay".
|
|
Currently
working with Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar
Kapoor for the film Bad Boy, Tanushree
confesses that if she hadn't been
an actress, she would have been a
chef as she loves to cook. Her favourite
character is that of Rani Mukherjee
in Black, and her favourite actor
is Shah Rukh Khan.
Tanushree sure has come a long way
and her journey of success can perhaps
be attributed to the motto she follows:
|
|
|
|
"Every
life runs on its own pace and rhythm and
we should not break that. One person can
strike gold in ten years, while another
can do it in two years. Hard work and focus
is the key to success."
