Captain’s
march without an actress!! |
July

With
the local body polls nearing in Tamil Nadu,
and his film with Perarasu, titled Dharmapuri,
going as per the schedule, things for Vijaykanth
couldn't look any better! |
|
|
But
a small hitch in the plan is the lack
of a heroine for the film. Initially,
Keerthi Chawla was supposed to play
the lead opposite Vijaykanth, but
due to date problems, she had to leave
the project. As Vijaykanth wants the
film to release on Diwali, before
the Panchayath elections in Tamil
Nadu, it was imperative for Keerthi
to be able to give bulk dates immediately.
And with the deadline nearing, Perarasu
couldn't take the risk.
The latest news however is that, Sneha,
might be playing the lead opposite
Vijaykanth. |
|
|
As
for Perarasu, to save time, he has already
started canning the scenes with Vijaykanth
alone, saving the rest for when they do
zero in on the actress. |
|
With
Vijaykanth's victory at the local
body elections in Pondicherry, expectations
for this film are high, and distributors
are beginning to show a keen interest
in the film, with rates increasing
by the day. Unlike earlier times,
when distributors would shy away from
Captain's films because of the problems
created by members of the PMK party,
this time distributors are not worried,
with Vijaykanth's victory in the recent
elections, when he beat them with
a considerable margin. |
|
|
|
No trouble from that end for sure, as Captain
is now not only a successful star, but a
politician and a MLA as well!
