Prashanth,
the son of director P.Vasu makes his debut
as hero in Thottal poo malarum. The young
man who has worked as a child artiste in
many of his father’s films like Chinna
Thambi, Nadigan, Idhu Namma Boomi etc. has
been groomed for a career in films. Christened
Sakthi for movie town, he was the cynosure
at the launch of the film. Ms. Chennai,
Kamala Deepika would be the heroine. The
film is produced by Sapphire media and Infrastructure. |

The event was held in the morning
at the Green Park Hotel in Vadapalani.
Top stars including Rajinikanth,
Kamal, Balakrishna, Jayapradha,
Satyaraj and Prabu attended the
function and wished the youngster
well. As news spread that Rajini
was at the venue, the peak hour
traffic ground to a halt as there
was an enthusiastic crowd milling
about to catch a glimpse of the
superstar. A posse of policemen
and traffic control officers were
posted outside to ensure that nothing
untoward happened and people went
about without any inconvenience.
