18. Mazhai was her second film which

of a heroine against super star Rajnikanth
in Sivaji.
With Sivaji nearing completion, her next assignment
is slated to be with Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay in
Azhagiya Thamizh Magan. She has also been roped
in as Vikram’s heroine in Kandasamy. With
the bulk call sheets allotted to top heroes, she
is not able to accept other films. This was the
reason for her to lose out on Sasi’s Im.
As per the industry grapevine, producers are eager
to book her but are disappointed due to the non-availability
of her dates. According to sources close to this
actress, Shriya is keen to spread her wings at
an all India level, but is apprehensive that she
may get trapped in Kollywood alone.
