Mega star Mammootty has been named
as the best actor for his heartrending
performance in films like ‘Kaioppu’
and ‘Karuthapakshigal’.
He has been chosen by the Atlas Film
Critics committee. Padmapriya has
bagged the best actress award for
her role in ‘Karuthapakshigal’
and ‘Yes Your Honor’.
These awards were announced by the chairman of
Atlas group Mr Ramachandran.
Mammotty’s poignant performance as a Tamil
migrant worker trying to earn a living by pressing
clothes and the trials and tribulations which
he faces are portrayed in an emotional manner
by this experienced actor. Hence it does not come
as a surprise that this film has won many awards.
