In
Kollywood, director Shankar’s
name is tantamount to grandiose and
exclusivity. The flamboyance and opulence
of his films are an ample proof to
this. Be it his narrative style or
the focal point of the film, he does
his home work thoroughly before he
embarks on it.
His
upcoming mega budget, mega bannered and mega starred
film Sivaji which could easily fit the tag of
‘the most expected movie of 2007’
is almost complete except for a few post-production
threads. Shankar’s penchant to stand out
differently has once again come to the fore in
chalking out a new strategy for promos and advertisement
of this film. He has plans to sum up all the probable
and prospective stories that were concocted by
the vivid imaginative media and declare that story
of Sivaji is certainly not any of these aforementioned
tales. This is indeed a novel concept which is
bound to attract the curiosity of the audience
and garner rich dividends for the entire film.
