is very difficult to erase silk Smitha
from our memory lane though years
have passed since her death. In the
history of Tamil films, there were
many glam dolls who made their entry
and exit in films. But no one can
take her place. Generally for such
actresses, there would be a huge fan
following from the male side only.
But Smitha had impressed even the fairer sex.
Such was her charisma.
Now after such a long time, Namitha is said to
be closely following Smitha’s heals. She
is reported to be patronized by ladies too. This
is reflected from the women’s fan mail that
she receives everyday. Realizing this Namitha
has made up her mind to feature more in performance
oriented films than in films which expects her
