Amir’s
Paruthi Veeran belongs to the league
of movies that encountered financial
hurdles while production. After learning
that the producer was no longer in
a position to fund the movie, Amir
took Paruthi Veeran in his hands.
The movie is wrapped up recently and
is all set to hit the screens in the
near future.
Paruthi Veeran has significantly more number of
debutants than professional actors. It took us
two months to finalize the location, stated Amir.
The movie is shot in various locations that are
never explored by Tamil cinema before, he added.
Amir has recreated a village carnival for the
movie and the shoots were carried out for 10 days
in Karumathur in Madurai. He has employed more
than 60 real time individuals like shopkeepers
for the movie and brought them down to Chennai
for dubbing. I have incurred heavy financial loss
for the movie as a producer, but I am happy that
I was able to finish the movie, stated Amir. I
want the movie to strike a chord and I am least
concerned about the profit, he added before signing
off.
