The release of a super star movie is tantamount to a festival season in Tamil Nadu. The frenzy appears to be reaching a feverish pitch with each passing day. In addition to Rajnikanth's presence, the film is the product of hard work of the bigwigs of the industry.

As the count down for release of Sivaji is nearing, the excitement seems to be reaching a new peak every day. It is expected that the number of prints would go up to five hundred. According to the reports in the media, the distributors can release the film in as many theatres as possible in their respective areas.
Meanwhile, arrangements are in full swing to officially bring out the trailer and ring tone from the film. Till date film clippings have been illegally converted into cell phone format and circulated. But Sivaji has pioneered a new trend in Tamil cinema where these are released before the release of the film. Perhaps this could even be the first of its kind in Indian cinema too. Now all the leading firms are vying with each other to buy the rights for the ring tone and trailer.
