Shankar's choice - Megastar after Superstar

Now that Sivaji is ready to hit the screens on April, it is time Shankar decides his next project. Or is it yet? Is Shankar ready for yet another project right after his backbreaking schedules for Sivaji or will he take a sabbatical with his family far from the madding crowd before arriving at a decision?

While these are the questions that arise, rumors do their part as well on his next venture.Earlier reports suggested Adlabs holding discussion with the master blaster for his next movie. However, those reports faded into oblivion eventually. Rumor mills now have it that the Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi is keen on working with Shankar.
Chiranjeevi was already associated with Murugadoss and seems to be satisfied with the output. Now busy with the Prabhu Deva directed Shankar Dada Zindabad, the remake of 2006 superhit Lage Raho Munnabhai, Chiranjeevi, if sources are to be believed, has expressed his desire to work with Shankar.
As for Shankar, he has only directed Tamil movies hitherto apart from a Hindi movie. On the other hand, his Telugu dubbed version of Kadhalan, Indian, Mudhalvan, and Anniyan have been smash hits in Tollywood.
