The team of Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram was recently at Gingee fort to can the beauty of this picturesque historic site. Director Suresh Krishna has intended to picturize few song sequences in this ideal spot. Songs are an integral part in any Indian film. There is a lot of precedence in the film industry
where songs have tilted the balance in its favor.Hence
it is only natural that the director is keen to
be perfect in such shots. Cinematographer of the
film Velraj decided on Rajagiri fort alias Rani
Fort in Gingee area to be the ideal location for
the number ‘Enge Azhagu…’
Unfortunately the only way to reach the venue is by climbing the steep 567 steps and no other means of transport is available in this part of the country. The entire crew excepting Meera Jasmine had reached the top of the fort as she found it too difficult to scale the height. Eventually, cameraman came up with a brilliant idea. He shot the beautiful location in his digital camera and convinced Meera to come up and shoot. Having understood the importance and the significance of the location, the actress immediately agreed. All is well that ends well. The crew stepped down after a satisfactory schedule up in the fort.
