Polladavan is the next film committed by Dhanush for debutant director Vetri Maran, the shoot for which began today. The latest music sensation of Kollywood G V Prakash scores music for this film. Though the title of the film is the same as the old blockbuster of Dhanush's father-in-law

super star Rajinikanth, the current one is said
to have no bearing with the older film. The director
sounded cliched when he said that the story will
be very unique and different. Dhanush, who had grown
his mane for Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram, has
shed the same for Polladavan. He has also joined
the bandwagon of stars who keep changing appearances
and get-ups for their films to give authenticity
to the roles that are being performed. The audio
launch of Parattai... is slated for the 1st week
of March. As additional information, Rajinikanth
will be gracing the function.
