She did not have quite a meaty role as Jyothika in the latest release Pachaikkili Muthucharam, but she did stand by herself in the Kalyani character of the movie. Surprisingly without any makeup. Model, stage artist, and singer, the multifaceted Andrea is not sure that she is keen on acting in Tamil movies.

I do not see any deep characters of women portrayed in Tamil cinema. All the heroine has to do is look pretty and dance around the trees, she shrugs her slender shoulders. I want to concentrate more on my career in music and do more stage plays rather than being one among the million in movies, she adds. Andrea is a professional singer and has sung for movies in Telugu.
I hate makeup and wouldn't wear any. Thankfully my role in the movie did not demand any makeup since I had to play an uncomplicated housewife, she chimes.
Rashmi, the associate director of Pachaikkili could well be credited for bringing Andrea to silver screen. She called me for a screen test and after reading the script I found it interesting, chimes Andrea. I thought I should give this a try, she adds.
