Paruthiveeran is not without problems. First it was the financial crisis that delayed the release of the movie and then it was the pirated CD of the movie making its way to the market. It was for the first time (is it?) in Tamil that a pirated CD hit the market before the movie hit the screens. Now the trouble is in the
form of a lady named Vellaiammal in Madurai claiming to be the wife of the real Paruthiveeran going to the courts to stay the release of the movie.
According to her, the movie portrays her husband in a bad manner. It is learnt that summons has been sent to director Ameer and Surya's father Sivakumar. It is Surya's cousin Gnavelrajan who is releasing the movie. When everyone expected the movie to hit the screens after an amicable solution was reached between Ameer and Sivakumar in the distribution of the movie, there is another hurdle the Paruthiveeran team has to cross.
The continuous postponement does not augur well for the movie. The hero of the movie and Surya's brother Karthi would be really disappointed as this is his debut movie. Hope everything ends well for Paruthiveeran and the movie sees daylight very soon.
