Prakash
Raj was approached by Veerapan's wife
Muthulakshmi to do the role of the
forest brigand in a movie showcasing
the life of the brigand. In an interview,
Prakash Raj confirmed that he was
approached for doing the role but
he had rejected the offer on the basis
of lack of strong script.
But
there were speculations that Prakash Raj rejected
the offer because he did not want to wrongly portray
the brigand as a good man. Though he has rejected
to play Veerapan, he is excited that he is gonna
play the role of Ravana in the mythological movie
Ramayan.
