In
a yearly event organized by the Kamal
fans association, Kamalhassan distributed
basic hygiene items worth Rs. 3.5
lakh for orphanages and old age homes.
The items that could be used by 10,000
people included bathing bars, toothpaste,
toothbrush, and soap dish.
The
event was organized in the Sanskrit college in
Mylapore and attracted 5,000 fans from Kamal fans
association. P. Madhavan, secretary of the college,
Savithri, and Ragupathi participated in the occasion.
Event activities were taken care by Gunaselan,
manager of Kamal fans association.
