a comedian in a film tilts the balance
in the film’s favor. Comedy
themes are well received by the public.
Hence after finalizing a story, the
producer first approaches the comedians
and then goes on to the lead characters.
In Tamil films, Vadivelu is being
liked by everyone
for his excellent comical performance and his
dialogue delivery.
Recently it was said that he would be featuring
in Dasavatharam. But as per the latest Kollywood
source, he has backed off from this much hyped
film. Out of the ten roles that Kamal is said
to don, one is that of a foreigner who comes to
India on a mission. This character is reported
to have lot of grey streaks in it. As a man not
belonging to this land, Kamal is required to use
the services of an interpreter. It is for this
role that Vadivelu was approached. He being a
very busy star could not allocate a month’s
call sheet as required by the unit to shoot his
part. He was willing to give a week’s call
sheet for this purpose but that was not sufficient.
Hence he is said to have withdrawn from the film.
