Ramesh
who had a successful debut in Jithan is busy with
a series of films lined up. Madurai Veeran, Madhu,
Nee Venunda Chellam and Jerry are some of them.
Jerry is widely expected to bring out his talent
for comedy because Crazy Mohan and S.B. Khanthan
are associated with the film. The good looking
Ramesh exchanged marriage vows with Shilpa, daughter
of a well-known Mumbai auditor on Tuesday. The
wedding reception would be held at Chennai’s
Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar auditorium. The reason
for the sudden marriage of the elder Chaudhry
sibling is quite revealing. It seems many friends
of Chaudhry Sr. had advised him that his handsome
sons could be the hen-pecked prey for prowling
glamorous young actresses in Kollywood. For a
conservative family like his, this would be unthinkable.
To preempt any such event, he promptly arranged
for Ramesh’s marriage. It is also rumored
that he is looking out for a suitable bride for
Jeeva and his wedding too would be announced soon.
No doubt several hearts would have been shattered
by this news, especially during the Valentine’s
