Things seem to have come a full circle with Amitabh Bachchan having given the go-ahead to Toonz Animation, an animation company based in Thiruvanathapuram, to make an animated flick with Big B playing the lead, as an animated character though. Toonz Animation, which also produced Hanuman Returns, said that this one would be a 2D animation film. They say that a formal announcement would be made as soon as Big B gives us the go ahead for the story and the dates for the project. With Sultan - The Warrior creating enough buzz, guess the Big B felt it is the right time to give a shot at an animation flick.
