While speaking
to our correspondent recently, the actress
made it very clear that she is in the film
industry mainly because she loves acting
and script is the only factor that drives
her to sign the dotted line for a project.
It had been so till date and her latest
release Rameswaram was one such project
that she agreed to work – entirely
because of the story and its climax. However,
contrary to what was narrated to her, the
movie had a different climax. The one she
was told earlier had the lead pair, Jeeva
and Bhavana, being gunned down by the cop,
who, incidentally, is also in love with
her. She exclaimed that it was this aspect
of the climax that drove her to accept the
project but what came through finally was
a different one, an anti-climax of sorts.
“Some directors don’t have the
nerve to stick to their script and make
compromises along the way,” she fretted
and fumed. Hmm! This actress is slowly discovering
the way Kollywood works.
