| He said, “I
was initially afraid to act in non-commercial
films for I feared that it may bring in losses
to the producer. However after Evano Oruvan,
the urge to do something to the society that
I belong has increased manifold and I decided
to co-produce the film. I am not concerned
if a film does not perform well commercially,
but as a responsible citizen, I would continue
to act in films which discuss about environment
issues.” He also went on to add that
everybody should see these films on environment.
“If we are not concerned about the
environment today, it is certain to hit
back at a later stage with extra vengeance.
The event was attended by singer Chinmayee,
seventh channel Manikkam Narayanan, Saminathan
from Pyramid Saimira and Dr Rubini Selvanadan.
