We already knew that Prakash Raj’s
home production Duet Movies’ latest
venture Vellithirai is a remake of Malayalam
hit Udayananu Tharam that featured Mohanlal
and directed by Roshan Andrews. Vellithirai
is based on the inside stories of many
layers of the tinsel world wherein Prakash
Raj’s character is that of a hero
and Prithvi Raj stars as an
assistant director.
Mozhi’s dialogue writer is donning the
director’s cap for this venture. Sharing
the screen space with Prakash Raj and Prithvi
are Gopika and Lakshmi Rai.
Latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood on the
movie is that Jeyam Ravi is also to feature
in this film. But it has turned out to be
that the actor will appear only in a guest
role. What is more interesting is that Jeyam
Ravi will star as himself, Jeyam Ravi that
is.
