Prakash Raj’s Duet Films is busy
currently producing many quality films
with different backdrops. Vellithirai
with Prithviraj and Gopika is reported
to deal with film industry while a father-daughter
relationship is the core theme in Prakash
Raj-Trisha starrer Abhiyum Naanum.
The third film
that Duet Films is involved with is Mayilu,
which is set in rural milieu with a lot of
newcomers from Madurai and Usilampatti who
are in no way connected with film industry.
Most of the shooting has been completed and
the film has moved on to the dubbing stage.
As it is difficult to bring the entire crew
to Chennai for dubbing, Prakash Raj has set
up a temporary dubbing theatre in Madurai
and has started the dubbing work now. The
dubbing theatre is set near Madurai airport
and to maintain the nativity and realism,
each and every cast member will be speaking
for themselves. Mayilu features Kanja Karuppu
and Prakash Raj also in pivotal roles and
the film is being directed by Jeevan.
