However, soon after, due to some differences
that cropped up between the two he had to opt
out and finally turn to Telugu managing to start
this film with Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
In the midst of all this, he had signed a film
to be directed by Prabhakar and produced by Lakshmanan
who earlier produced Suryah’s Kalvanin Kadhali.
Prabhakar had registered the title of the film
as Vil under Lakshmanan's production banner but
somehow the project didn't kick off after which
he decided to direct the same under NIC arts banner
using the same title. This has put the film in
a legal wrangle of sorts as the duration for the
title had expired, as the project didn't take
off.
Seizing this opportunity, Arun Pandian has registered
this title under his name for a new movie. Now
director Prabhakar finds himself in the middle
of nowhere as Arun Pandian isn't in any mood to
part with the title. Considering the fact that
S.J.Suryah's movies hit the headlines anyway,
guess the title shouldn't matter much. |
