This catfight amongst producers to get her dates has left those who have failed, to resort to other measures. They have gone in for the age old trick of dubbing some of her old Telugu and Tamil hits and releasing them in Hindi. In this attempt one such producer has dubbed her earlier film Auto Shankar in Hindi and is releasing it all across the north .This was a huge hit in Telugu and earned her the nickname Auto Shankar Shilpa as she plays a don in that movie. The film has Shilpa in some glam outfits and these images have now become a part of the film’s posters, they have even gone ahead and named the movie Shilpa- the Don. This comes as a surprise to Shilpa, as her permission was not sought for dubbing her lines and she wasn’t informed about the release in Hindi either. She however doesn’t intend taking any action against the producers as she feels it will not affect her career. She has replied that it is an attempt on the part of the producers to cash in on her big brother win. Now that’s what you call a sport.
