The director has already proved his mettle with
the critically acclaimed Kana Kandaen.
The search for the heroine was on, and Shriya
was the initial choice, as AVM and K.V. Anand
and Shriya did work together for the giant blockbuster,
Sivaji. Unfortunately, due to her heavy schedule
the actress could not be a part of this film.
Tamanna, the Kalloori girl has now bagged the
offer to star opposite Surya. Tamanna expected
Kalloori to give her big break in Kollywood, but
notching such a big project prior to its release
has come as a pleasant surprise to this talented
actress. When Tamanna was questioned about this,
pat came the reply that it is an honor to do a
movie with Surya, K.V. Anand and AVM Productions,
and also added that it was a dream-come-true.
