The shooting of the song commenced around 2 p.m.
yesterday with cinematographer R.D. Rajasekhar behind
the lens. When he had rehearsed enough for the shot
and was ready for the final take, Simbhu fractured
his thumb finger performing a single-hand-balancing
act for the ‘Kutti Pisaase, Un Thollai Thaangalaye…’
song while courting Vedhika. However, Simbu completed
the shot much to the satisfaction of the choreographer.
Only then did he notice that his thumb had swollen
and was continuing to swell. It was around 11 p.m.
when Simbu found that the pain was excruciating
following which he was admitted to a nearby hospital.
This song, scored by G.V. Prakash and sung by Simbu
and Suchitra, is choreographed by Yasin, who has
already made Tamil Nadu shake a leg for the hit
song ‘Yemmadi Aathadi’ composed by Yuvan.
This is Simbu’s first team up with composer
G.V. Prakash Kumar. This film, produced by Nic Arts
S. S. Chakravarthy and directed by Tarun Gopi, is
being shot at a supersonic pace for an early 2008
– Pongal – release. |
