During
the audio launch of Solli Adippen,
Rajni’s casual comments on Vivek
have sparked a fresh row with Thevar
community. In the function, super
star had commented that Vivek’s
intelligent sense of humour had made
him think that he should be hailing
from Brahmin community. But on the
contrary, he realized that he is a
Thevar. This is a very normal and
offhand remark.
But
Dr Sethuraman from Moovendar Munnetra Kazhagam
took exception to this remark and has issued a
notice to the super star. Dr Sethuraman feels
that Rajni’s comment indicates that Thevars
are not intelligent people which hurts a lot of
Thevars.
