Kasturi
Raja’s latest venture Idhu Kadal
Varum Paruvam, which was released
last Friday after winning a battle
with the censor board officials, has
run into trouble again, this time
from the public, for its content.
The movie, which tells the divine
(!!!) tale of love between an older
woman and a young teen of 13 is facing
stiff resistance among the public.
Members
belonging to various women organizations took
to the roads to show their protest in various
places. An outrageous mob belonging to Indian
Democratic Youth club ripped the movies posters
off the walls and staged a demonstration in front
of the Salem Collector Office.
Idhu.. has Harikumar and Lakshipriya in the lead.
The movie reportedly contains steamy scenes between
the lead pair and Kiran’s liplock with the
hero Harikumar has infuriated the public as well.
Recently a tabloid has published the review of
the movie – just a snap from the movie,
which appeared above the trashcan, which symbolically
stated that the movie was no less of trash.
