Nila
the Delhi girl who was imported to
Kollywood through S J Suryah for his
‘Aa Aaa’ was initially
thought in the industry to be a replacement
for Simran. Though the film did not
do very well, she received quite a
lot of offers subsequent to this.
While she was shooting with Prashanth
for Jambavan, she was in the thick
of a controversy which resulted in
a chain of unsavory events.
It
was alleged that she was made to bathe in a pond
with dirty water for the shoot and while she expressed
her reluctance she was reportedly manhandled by
the producers. This incident was later sorted
out amicably.
Further to this event, she has shifted bags and
baggage to Telugu Desam where she is currently
shooting for Sathyam Shivam Sundaram. There, she
was heard lauding the Telugu producers and even
said that she prefers them to Tamil producers.
But now the situation has changed there too. Nila
has gone to Hyderabad court and has filed a case
against the producer Srinivasa Raju. She has demanded
the court to stop the release of her film Sathyam
Shivam Sundaram till the balance payment of Rs
nine lakhs is settled to her. Hence the film is
likely to be delayed.
